  1. They are having a break ATM. Back in March or April I think.

    Hello there!

    Hello and welcome.

    Hello

Hello and welcome to you and star.
  4. I like the last one. I think that you could do a bit more noise reduction on it and maybe knock the green back a bit. Nice image though.
  5. That's not too shabby. It's as good as my last effort. Keep going.
  6. The biggest issue with planetary is always going to be the seeing. I thought that it looked clear last night but was not happy with the results. I found getting a good focus almost impossible and it shows in the results. I used my C8 with a 2.5 barlow and ASI224. Will try again if we get another clear night.
  7. I have been playing around with this on some old images. As an example I have posted crops of image of the Rosette from this year without and with BlurX. There is an improvement but it's quite subtle I feel. Will I be buying this? I don't think so. If it was a plug in for PS/AF then I might be more tempted but the price of £83 seems quite high for what you get.
  8. I only do imaging but I think that it would help if you said what telescope you will be using.
  9. As the Altair comes with a reducer, I would go with that one. This will give you F5.6 which would be the fastest of the three. This will be useful if you decide that you want to do some imaging. However all three would be ok.
  10. No I don't think they do. I just use TIFF because that's what gets put into Affinity for tweaking.
  11. I stack using APP so I end up with a TIFF. Can that then be used in PI with BlurX?
  12. I don't know what that means. I stack using APP so I end up with a TIFF. Can that then be used with BlurX?
  13. I think that, if enough people ask for it, he may relent. I have asked. I cannot stand PI. I have it but don't use it anymore as I value my sanity.
  14. You seem to have already made your decision so I'm not sure I can add anything.
  15. You are basically trying to avoid black clipping any data by moving the black point.
  16. Just to add that I find a flip mirror such a help when imaging planets.
  17. I doubt that you will be able to find a replacement corrector plate. It would also be very expensive to send off for repair.
