One issue and I don't know if it's W11 or the hardware - when you wake it from sleep it takes 4-5 secs before anything shows on the screen - W10 used to come up immediately.

Uncooled vs cooled (now vs Christmas) need persuading.

Cooled cameras are more sensitive and reduce noise. Also easier to match up darks etc due to exact temperature. -

I connect to my AVX with my laptop but I have to connect to the controller through a plug on the bottom. -
Looks good - if any criticism it would be that it is very slightly over sharpened but that's being picky.

Beginner looking for some help (DSO photography)

As I understand it the byers drive will severely limit your exposure time. The main issue in your image to me is that it is out of focus. -
To me that looks like impact damage. I would have thought that careful processing would be able to remove that from images and it's near the edge so you can always crop.

M101 is always a difficult subject as it is so dim. I think you did really well and well done for sticking at it for 7 hours. I usually give up after 3 through boredom. -
