  1. Sure it's clear.. but even at 112x the moon is dancing all over the place.. box of frogs! Been up since 3:30 shooting frames, it'll take me 3 days to process it all!

      3.30am that's hardcore and dedication mate, I had a few hours from 8pm till about 10.30pm trying my new little newt, bagged the flame and o-neb, but boy it was cold and I had double thermals on. I look forward to your pics of the box of frogs.  charl.

      Thanks Charl, I was called mad at the time.. but really when do you get the opportunity working 7 till 7, with a youngster and the like.. I've got PiPP working through the first 900 frames for me tonight, then im going to try a mosaic from 2 panes around 400 each... then I took some avi of Clavius... see what I get out of it!

  2. Showing frames through the soup! Well I'm desperate, why else would I.. just for laughs I'll post what I get with the 433 frames on the moon.

  3. Did I see an ISS pass at half6 tonight or am I going crazy... Nothing listed on clear outside but it did look like it... (If not what was it!?)

  7. I can confirm that the 15mm slv is a heck of a good ep! Just blown away M13 with the 200p, not even from a dark sky either! Happy happy happy.

Haaaayyyy who's being buying all the flocking paper from FLO, I was going to carry out that mod after the lacerta 10:1 upgrade... you know, so i have an excuse to touch my scope despite all this cloud, without attracting unwanted attention from naysayers wanting me to empty dishwashers and the like..

  14. This FLO sale is killing me in more ways than one... my EP collection (price) is about as stable as the Chinese stock market, and the only solution I can think of is quantitative easing... maybe time to use my alternate delivery address.. :unsure:

  18. Brought the scope into work for a white light lunch, with the promis of clear skys... complete about turn by met office and COS... Still looks to be clear tonight now instead!

  19. Just opened the box on the new celestron star pointer pro... curiosity got the better of me, so I'll post a review shortly! looks an interesting piece of kit.. cheapish and light weight hence the interest.

  21. Going to deepest darkest Ullswater in the lakes this weekend and suprise suprise after the clear nights recently it's going to be rubbish... will throw the 80mm in the boot though to be on the safe side!

  25. New ostara finderscope arrived today... Looks like aright piece of kit... Wonder if it will fit in my generic skywatcher shoe though. Only one way to find out.....
