Thank you all for your comments
Am really happy with this @FenlandPaul
@davew it looked like Lindisfarne Castle was unlit. Yes, a disheartening first go, am not sure why I posted it. Shows its not easy!
@Saganite I am Paul, cheers.

I think you need to give the folk at Bamburgh a light painting lesson!
Definitely! Any closer and the light just overwhelmed the image.

It is a recommended dark sky location. I couldnt see the castle lit up across the water. It would be a tad too light during mid-summer.
Added an Instagram version...

Good to see you're still driving the quality forwards and your light painting is getting even smoother,
Thank you. Can bit a bit hit and miss, needing to remember all the 'tricks' when my brain is asleep...

Bet it gets windy up on those fells!
All the locals comment how nice it is on a calm day!! Added the starscapes.

...windy as, had me hiding on a slope sheltering from the westerly gale. Anything for a bit of clear sky.
One of the usual. Light painted barn on an upslope to get Leo nicely framed. About 8 subs for sky stacked with Sequator. Stopped down the lens and reduced iso for foreground lit images, about 4. Processed with LR and PS. The barn corners do have a taper in the stonework as well as converging verticals
The other is ~8 x 30s, iso1600, f3.5 tracked on MSM. Always fancied getting the 'big' asterisms of Ursa Major and Leo in a single frame. Canon R8, Sigma 24mm. Quite a few Messier and NGC galaxies also lurking. Some in annotated version. Cheers, Paul.

Love the feel. A great set of images.
The video is even better.

One way of making stars more prominent...am cutting back on the goodies. Though throughly approve.
Striking composition
Good to see you out in the field, Paul.

Really enjoyed your video @FenlandPaul
I prefer the 'Teasel Core' image. You can get detail in Rho Ophiuchi!
Cheers, Paul.

Good luck @davew I've seen a few good images from Byland. Thinking I can get a nice Cygnus Milky Way above this foreground Cheers, Paul.

So desperately sad. I don't know what to say.
I've spent many hours under the dark skies of his favoured mid-Wales locations. The Elan Valley provided a particular kinship, a great sense of connection.
Unbelievable.

Good view last night about 21.00.
From core area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park International Dark Sky Reserve.
Canon 15 x 50 IS binoculars. Tail about 2 degrees, maybe greenish tinge to coma.
Rain washed and moonless sky

Thank you @davew . Yep, there is a tail.
As you realised, I was deliberately squeezing the comet and our house into the single image...pretty cool

How have you found the Astro-mod?
Interesting...way more signal to use, though trickier to process! Reach the light pollution 'limit' more easily. Certainly a bit more learning to do. A different style with this one, trying to show off the foreground without any lighting. Think that using the same sensor for foreground and sky makes the feel more consistent.
I (we) need more opportunities!!!! Paul P.S. have updated the image
