That looks wonderfully clean
...the combo of long exposure and light painted foregrounds. Almost oddly 'clean'. Usual Sequator stack with freeze foreground for the sky.

Unheard of events yesterday. New camera arrived along with some clear sky to try it out. Canon R8, is the R6 MkII without the frills that are unused in nightscape photography. Somewhat less expensive!!
Yes, another barn. This one near Muker, Swaledale. Foreground 2 x 180s ambient stacked, ~4 light painted, Sky ~10 x 8s stacked. Canon R8 and SIgma 24mm. LR, Sequator and PS. Cloud interupted play. Powered by hot chocolate.
Cheers, Paul

An awesome night, Paul.
Added image over cottage. New longer time lapse.

I always like your take on buildings. Once again, lovely stone work.
Nice quantity of Ha showing for such short exposures too. I find myself hankering for a 24mm lens but can't justify one unless I get out there for a change !
Real food ?? No chocolate ??
Dave,
Thank you @davew plenty of stone to practise on around here. Yes, beans on toast is real food!

30th Jan 05.30 - definitely an easier naked-eye object, must be brighter than mag. 5
Good luck

...binoculars. So high up and easy to locate near the two bright stars in Ursa Minor. I am in northern Yorkshire Dales.
Canon 15 x 50 IS - elongated fuzzy, about 1 degree.
Averted vision naked-eye fuzzy Again the relative position of the nearby Ursa Minor stars made it relatively straightforward. Also no interference from other bright stars. *** 30th Jan 05.30 - definitely an easier naked-eye object, must be brighter than mag. 5 ***
Good luck everyone.

It has an " Old world " look about it
Maybe I should go for sepia! Have replaced versions with at tad less brightness on the building.
Thank you, Paul.

A couple from the past weeks.
Beacon Monument above Orton, Cumbria, for the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
My home, in snow, for me.
Each Canon 6D MkII amd Sigma 50mm. 50mm gives a big image scale! Processed with LR, Sequator and PS. Monument focused only on foreground, sky therefore with big stars. House a few light painted focussed foreground and several sky stacked with Sequator. Foregrounds much sharper when images clicked...
Cheers, Paul
P.S. Bonus grayscale version

...excellent view of E3 ZTF this morning 21st from the northern Yorkshire Dales. SQM 21.3.
Canon 15 x 50 IS.
Pale green wedge with coma. About 1.5 degree alongated. Easy find in a dark sky using Bootes asterism as a guide.
Good hunting, Paul.

It's forecast to be clear on Monday night after all the lousy weather.
Hello Peter!
Thank you.
It has been a looong few weeks of 'weather'. I also have plans for Monday! Hope it works out for everyone.
Cheers, Paul.

Hope the mud hasn't contaminated any kit...
