Was a lovey crisp and clesr day yesterday u around Kings Lynn, so I thought I would do a bit of solar observing when I gor back to Ely...it was not to be, Ely was fogged in and still -2C

Back in the UK.....and on an internet system that works.

Another 5 days and I am out of Shanghai..thanks God. The internet is constantly interupted if you are using a non Chinese computer and trying to log onto sites like SGL.. or the Beeb.

Off to Shanghai tomorrow until the 31st Dec. Still trying to sort out the visa problems the Foreign Office is creating for my wife of 14 years. Will be in Schloss Baggy by mid February just outside Kings Lynn.

Been in Shanghai for the last few weeks, cloudy skies and when clear heavy LP and contamination.

In China for a couple of weeks...as usual grey and overcast but not too polluted.

I ache....been at kendo practice...stupid at y age but hell you are here only once.

Might even have a clear evening in Ely....

Been on business travel in Latvia and Lithuania. These two states would make great places to spend a week doing AP, real dark sky opps...plus great food and beer and nice people.

Went out into the fens ast evening t try and get a moonrise shot....was clear in the right drection until I got the kit set up....how do clouds know when to rll in

Fiddle time tonight!. My Feathertouch focuser for the 9.25 SCT has arrived. Been breifing myslef how to fit it.

12 hr flight from Shanghai...back in the UK again

Been in China the last 2 weeks and one week to go. Internet is very iffy and the hotel we stayed in for our conference had the worst connection ever. The Chinese seem to think it is fast......not seen a clear sky either so no surprises on two fronts.

Not been posting much recenlty as I have been busy getting into the new job and learning how to live again in the UK..also Mrs B had visa and still has visa problems so she is stuck in China. Off to China on Monday for 3 weeks, maybe something can get sorted out. Clear skies to all...
