    I really like both versions. The PI one is more conventional but the Photoshop one has more of your own stamp on it. It's nice to see them both side-by-side. As toxic suggests, blending the two is an option.

      I bought loads of old lenses for as little as £3 each if i find a good performer then i look out for a more pristine example.

      Can never have enough.

      It's either too windy to do anything or there is a full moon.

      Not the most satisfying session, but did get to check my modded camera reaches infinity focus and could make out the Sadr Region in a 30 second test shot.

      Yeah, all fine thanks, although I had been standing under it 5 minutes before it came down to position some buckets and towels. Insurance will take care of it, it's just a pain.

      Not surprising double stars are dominating my observing sessions now. When Andromeda looks like a small spherical smudge what else can we do? :)

    Polarscope on order from FLO, hopefully a better polar alignment will help me use my longer lenses on my EQ3-2.

      It sure will can be a bit fiddly to get the initial alignment done but there are plenty of guides. Good to see a fellow EQ3-2 user on here.

    Saw five shooting stars last night while out imaging.

      They are a great sight,

      I remember one shooting across the FOV in my binoculars and I managed to react well enough to follow it as it faded. It left a nice dark purple blue smoky tail that took quite a while (10-15 seconds) to fade away into black. Keep up the imaging !

      I saw one too. Nice bright with a good tail. Moving N to S. Ish. Around 11.30
