A dream came true today: Sarah and my Tele Vue 85 has arrived. It is love at first sight! Hope to see the Moon through it tonight, hopefully the clouds are held up in customs.

Skywatcher Equinox 100ED Apo (2 months old mint condition) - I got this for £350 - Very pleased!

5th month and less than 2 full hours of light data..

A golden oldie tv radian 8mm arrived in post, to kepe my 6mm company. Came with box, eyeguard and all this time. Looks mint. Can't wait to give it a run.

Time for another go at a Sun mosaic, today there were reasonably many sunspots so maybe the alignment will go well. :)

Feeling stupid this morning... spent a very frustrating hour trying to set up my NEQ6 polar scope before I came on here and discovered there was a hole in the RA shaft too see through...Can't believe I was so stupid

Well last night was very interesting. I got out to image the Moon and gave up soon as thin cloud / fog sucked up most of the brightness of the view. Was about to pack away when I thought I'd try a 7nm H-a filter. WOW! It certainly cut through the fog a bit. Will be interesting to see how the images come up. I slowed the frame rate down to just 5FPS at one point.
