Nice image. I thought it was just me. Also out there a couple of hours and underwhelmed is a fair description.

Taken on the 11th before the moon spoilt the dark skies. A blend of the only two successes from over one hundred shots. Its a bit like fishing this game !. Never managed a meteor image before so pleased. Vega to the right, Deneb to the left and Milky Way down the middle. Some high level cloud thrown in across the bottom third for good measure !! Camera was a Canon powershot taking ten sec exposures at 1600 ISO

Conditions are generally not good here in the UK at 52 degrees North as many others are finding out with Jupiter and Saturn so low in the Southern sky.. Last night was hopeless, a bit like taking a video through a jelly ! . Still nice to get something. Taken through an ED120 with imaging source one shot colour. I used a x3 barlow and the same set up and processing, but thought I'd bring them onto the same page. to hopefully maker a better picture.

Took these last night. 22 x 25 secs through a standard Canon zoom lens at about 200mm. Definitely fading quickly but worth a shot still. It may be an artifact but there appears to be some detail in the nucleus. I've tried to process to bring it out but it may be some quirk of the stacking etc. I've seen another thread where this has been mentioned but cant' find it. Anyone else seen this?

Still playing around with data from two nights back. Prefer the colours on this one and more of the Ion tail. What are we all going to do when this one fades ????

Thanks. If I get another chance I want to try through a scope and use an LP filter. Unfortunately the comet is in the most light polluted part of the sky from my garden but isn't that "Spodes Law" or something according to Mr Moore. !

Cleared last night but Neowise is low down. The sky was a bit murky but pleased to get the second tail (just). As I set up in the garden the ISS went over. It went over again before I finished. They had been around the earth while I stood in the garden !! Taken with standard canon 55-250 at 200mm. 20 x 20 sec exposures at 1600 ISO on a star adventurer.

Forecast changed during the evening and clear enough to see the comet after sunset. A bit low down in the murk and the sky not very dark. Managed a few subs at 8 seconds through an ED72 with Canon 1200D . I'll have a go at gradients and LP later, you never know, maybe more detail in there somewhere !, but pleased to get a first shot for me in the evening.

Yes. Fair comment. Would like to try with a better quality lens I guess. Will try the lower ISO and see what happens

Last night at 02:00 Canon 1200D and standard 55-250 lens. Lets hope we have many weeks of this

An experiment really to see what a Canon Powershot 530 would do. It comes with a 50 x optical zoom. This is a single shot taken last night. It's not a telescope but I'm amazed how the technology has come on in recent years.

That’s a fine job with the 120 ED. They are often overlooked for lunar and planetary but do a really good job. Nicely processed.

Taken a few weeks back but just got around to processing. The camera was a canon 1200D with standard 55 - 250 mm canon lens at about 135mm. If you can't find it, Mercury is right in the middle about 20 % of the way down from the top edge. I'm always pleased to see Mercury. I think this is about the fourth time in 50 years !!

Still wading through video files. Different exposure here seems to have captured more detail on the crater ramparts and the area to the North of Theophilus. I never seem to process following the same routine or is it just me? Trouble is I usually forget between sessions !

Sometimes takes me ages to get around to processing. Taken through an ED120 a few nights back using an imaging source camera at prime focus. 6 shots stitched together

Seeing was terrible but the prom was definitely worth a look. Taken through modded pst on SW ED100

Seeing was good the other night. A couple shots here taken through a Skywatcher ED152 with a x3 barlow . I must admit its rare the seeing allows x3.
