Check out astroboot & astro buy Sell, and also here of course if your quick enough you could pick up a bargin like me, an older eq6 for just £350, its the older black version, but hey ho, still does the job, and will do me just fine, ebay is a bit hit & miss, bidders tend to get carried away, and prices go OTT, and there nothing wrong with 2nd hand, which most of my kit is, all that matters is, does it do the job

Been looking up at the night sky as a very young kid,, got my first astromony book as a xmas present aged 11, and yes, it was patrick moores, and still have it now my first look through a telescope was a small frac, cant remember the make or size, but I felt so impressed by being able to split the double in gemini, yes I know, thats very easy now but, it got me hooked, so here I am decades later still looking upwards

Having a little play with it now, as a photographer, looking pretty good, got to be usefull for astro, also like that it has noise reduction

Yep runs on Win 10. If you cant see it in shaprcap, goto device manager, select it & update driver

Mine has been flashed, had it set-up on sharpcap on W10 for a play

Celestron Ultima DX 9*63 clear & sharp, well worth having. I Use mounted on an eq3 & photo tripod. Also just right for hand-held use These are a keeper

Worth a play, as its just sitting in the draw and might try it out on the polar scope for sharpcap polar align The ASI120MC is already on the cards will pass the spc900 on when I get one

Is it worth using a SPC900 for imaging, what sort of results could you expect?

will look out for an 8.5". changing the focuser would'nt be a problem

Short term, will just leave setup outside with a decent cover. Will setup a pier at somepoint in the future

In a similiar position, my back is totally naff, the 10" is just too much to cope with now, will be looking to sell it at some point, and go fo an 8" so I can mount it on the EQ6
