  1. Thank you. Do you post your sketches anywhere, I would love to see them. I am totally useless at sketching. Dave
  2. Thank you josefk. I presume you mean the full solar disc in H-alpha. Dave
  3. Very nice and sharp. Good work. Dave
  4. That's a lovely group of sunspots in the NE. Well done. Dave
  5. This last image is a mosaic of 15 frames with 3X Barlow. Click to see large version Dave
  6. Excellent Ewan. The animation is fascinating. Dave
  7. After a cloudy morning the sky unexpectedly cleared in the afternoon. Dave
  8. Thanks David. I was lucky. It was forecast to be clear most of the morning but it rapidly changed from very thin cloud to solid cloud. Dave
  9. Thanks David. The last one is with a 2x and 3x barlow and the best 100 frames out of 4000. Dave
  10. Firstly in white light with a continuum filter. and finally in Halpha Time and cloud did not let me explore that floating prom in the SW Dave
  11. Very nice, as usual. Dave
  12. This is a mosaic of 7 frames. I can get a full disc in one but this gives so much more detail. No impressive proms today. Dave
  13. Lovely image. That spiky prom was very visible during the total eclipse in Australia. Dave
  14. There are others from today on my website. Dave
  15. Looks OK. I use a Rowan tilt adapter but see no reason why the FLO one should not be alright, Dave
  16. I would certainly recommend the 174MM camera. It has a large chip which gives the full solar disc in one with my Lunt 80 and runs at just over 100 fps provided you use USB3 leads. A tilt adapter is effective to stop the interference bands. Dave
  17. Nice one David. Good to see you here again. Dave
  18. Excellent image. That AR only appeared yesterday. Dave
