Trying out Topaz Denoise on an old pic, & it seems to work. Very poor composition as I was reluctant to step outside any further due to a large green mamba I saw earlier in a tree. Hence the 'try to see if it works' composition. second image is without denoise

I accidentally changed the capture from SER to TIFF - was rushing & the sun was blistering - I stacked 5% of 400 & got this

I thought that without the haze it would have more definition & contrast........I can still see the plasma coining from adjacent to the sun spot, which I'm happy about. Typical here this time of year as the haze always follows the sun, all day! 😄 -
I optimistic if I get a clear day without haze I will get sharper images....we live in hope 🙃

Any amateur can be excused for forgetting the flat frames.

Still struggling but I think the focus is OK. FPS low using ASIAIR (8fps) indoors as it was blistering outside, & managed 276 frames when the wind died down - stacked 80. Laptop next time for sure!

Just incase someone else has the same issues - it was my daughter iPhone. Turn it off the mount works perfectly on my Android, turn it on & there are issues. Unsure why but hey-ho, at least its sorted

I don't think it's updates as it worked perfectly Ok yesterday. I'll check the other device settings as you mentioned, & see if there are any differences....nothing like tech to give you a headache!....😆
