First attempts
Jupiter June 2016 via 127 Skywatcher Mak and celestron webcam Lousy weather but tried to use the webcam for the first time and did the processing in Registax. There is a B&W image with the red spot I think visible, and a colour image taken a day or two later.
I thought they were pretty poor even for a first go but if the sky ever clears I will try again, and again..... (prob have to wait 12 months now for the Jupiter to come back round.)

Mercury Transit with 140 children!
I took my CPC 1100 into my local village school, and with the help of my daughter we managed to get every single child (140 of them!) a glimpse of our star and tiny Mercury. Here are our first ever solar images.
