Prom animation May 20th

Getting to grips with solar animations and this is my first "proper" prom sequence. Only 3 images taken over the space of 17 mins. I did not crop them very well but reg5 manual alignment did the trick and saved as registered avi.

Nice first prom sequence. I have created aligned and properly cropped images with imgalt in the past, and now I use ImPPG (under tools). Works very well

Nice start there Stuart. Yes ImPPG is the tool to align the shots, works very well. Any plans to shoot in mono?

Thanks Michael I did try ImPPG but it can't seem to handle the different crop sizes so they don't align.

Cheers Freddie, regarding the mono cam I'm having issues with capturing flats  due to the tracking drift which means as!2 can't properly align the flat with the light producing a image with a over bright limb on one side and a silloute shadow on the other.
Unless I can stop the tracking drift I'm not sure how to get around it.
