Cambridge Double Star atlas

I found a site which appears to have stock of the cambridge double star atlas for a reasonable price , certainly compared to amazon.

It is an online shop in France called Astronome.fr I include a link below.

I have ordered a copy so will update if it arrives.

Hi Glynn, say this on Cloudy Nights last week,and hummed and hahed about whether or not to order a copy.I note that you wrote that you would "update If it arrives" and not "when it arrives". Doubtless,they can't have an inexhaustable supply!

Hi M or A it cost £51 all in with postage and exchange fees , new in a cellophane bag and bubblewrapped inside a cardboard sleeve.

I'm not sure if it is a copyright infringement or just one of those books that is sometimes offered free in PDF form? but I found in on the net with next to no effort searching for it. It can then either be used on a tablet or printed, laminated and made into a field guide.

Yes I have a pdf version as well but I found it a bit of a chore searching through it (found my computer was a bit slow loading it) this is much better for me as its pretty simpleton proof !

I agree, there is nothing like having a proper book instead off all this new-fangled e-malarky. This probably just shows my age but hey, each to their own.

Apologies Michael looks like I got the last one , just taken me 3 hours and 2 coaches ( including a breakdown ) to get home from london I knew the karma would get me !

Fingers crossed the good people over on cloudy nights get some joy with their requests for a reissue.

lol - just printing out some pages for tonight, did 7 and 8 (total 4 A4 pages) then ran out of ink...

I've bought a Rexel plastic wallet folder thingy to put the pages in. It will just do 19 northern hemishphere maps plus index.
