Dead camera HELP

Last night I decided to use my QHY5L II C on the moon.

Everything started ok.

Plugged camera into PC, started up Firecapture.

Nice image on screen, everything running ok.

Then I adjusted the “region of interest” size and everything froze?????

I shut down software and unplugged camera.

Started up again but nothing – Camera not recognised, no power LED on camera.

Searched in device manager - NOTHING.

In all I’ve tried 4 computers and 3 cables (one new and still in packed) – nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

(It’s not been my month – both my car and wife’s car in garage and now this)

might be worth getting onto the qhy guys to see if they can help, seems very strange

Yeah, very strange - I can't imagine a software problem killing a camera. Maybe try the qhy forum though replies can be a bit slow to appear... Hope you can sort the problem.

My qhy5l-iim stopped working on my laptop. I tried all the obvious cables, hubs and different laptops. Ultimately it seemed to not run on a shared port with the wireless usb dongle for my logitech game pad. worth trying to isolate from anything else and try different cables.

If all else fails it should still be under warranty.
