I've had a crack at this one befor but could never make anything good from it. I'm a bit more happy with tonights efforts.

11x5min subs @ ISO1600 + only 3 darks.

Modded 1000D @ -3°C

Skywatcher 1000mm 8inch f5 reflector.

Baader MPCC.

Modified EQ5 mount, guided with PHD.

lovely image.. well tracked, well processed, and just a DSLR

Out of interest how do you get the darks to subtract correctly?.. DSLRs never being that temperature stable.

I just take the darks afterwards and stack them in DSS. I would have done more but it was a work night. If the sky is clear tonight i'll add more to it.
