SGL6 DSO images

Hello

I would like to share my images from SGL6 taken on Saturday and Sunday night.

All taken with my recently obtained Orion Optics AG8 (ex Peter Shah) - in fact these are first light images - well the scope saw first light for me at Kielder but I had horrendous collimation and chip spacing problems so they dont count - lol.

I still think collimation is a tad off and I now know how precise focus has to be - M51 was a whisker out and it shows.....

Still - work in progress but fairly satisfied.

All taken with an Artemis 4021 and starlight express 2 inch filter wheel - astronomik filters

M45 - 5 x 5 mins luminance subs

M101 - 6 x 10 mins

Leo triplet - 10 x 10 min L, 5 x 10 min RGB

M51 - 10 x 10 min L, 5 x 10 min RGB

All guided with my Borg 76 achro and an atik 16ic on an EQ6 Pro

Very nice indeed, I wish I had grabbed more than just one image. M101 is looking really good and is my favorite from these images.

I was at SGL6 on the Sunday couldnt find you to see how you got on with it......

looks great roll on the clear skies

P.s. i would fit a robo focus, makes focusing so much easier!

Many thanks all feedback is appreciated - on revision I feel these aren't processed as well as I would like. I seem to have more noise than I was expecting. I will have a reprocess and post again.
