moon image with my OMC200

Hello all,

I just thought I would share an image of the moon I obtained using my Orion Optics OMC200 telescope. It is F20 and the image was taken with a opticstat 122 ccd camera.

It wasa taken 9th Sept at 2327hrs 2006.

Yep thats a nice image.

You've got some nice detail on the terminator withour over exposing the rest of it. Nice one.

I have the OMC200 as my next upgrade plan.

Can I ask what you what is good & not so good about them

I cannot fault my scope,it has done everything I wanted from it. I got t primarily for use on the moon and planets. It does this very well, the contrast and detail I pick up is grand. I suppose the only drawback I can think of is it is not able to give pleasing views of wide field objects, but one would not expect to at F20. I can and do view globulars,planetaries and galexies with this scope, and it works well. Probably because the size of such objects are small.
