Byz1453
I got one of these, not cheap but good for taking it anywhere and I'd be happy putting my HEQ5 tripod in the hold of a plane with this.Manfrotto MBAG100PN Padded Tripod Bag: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
Horus
Ouch .....that's exspensive , I tried the chair bag but he neck is too small as the mount is quite wide. Does that bag have a wide neck or is it zipped ?
Byz1453
I was the same and used a chair bag for a while but it didn't really work. The manfrotto bag is a bit of a squeeze but has one end wider than the other for the mounting plate.

Takahashi
I would really like a bag of some sort for me EQ6 legs... they clang like a cluster of ships' bells, usually at 3 in the morning when returning from a sesh. Still can't find one that's both big & cheap enough.EDIT :Oops! I appear to have just bought a large tripod bag from LaserLevelsOnline. Hope it fits. If not though, I'm sure I'll manage to find some other **** to stuff into it.Thanks for the tip, John, should've read your post first.

starguest
Another thought, though the laserlevels surveyor sounds a good bet.Ski bags. You can get shorter size ones but the full length zip and internal space are ideal.
Horus
Just taken delivery but unfortunately the head of the mount is to wide to fit the widest end of the bag. Well it's back to the old sheet wrapped around it lol
