Sat 24 Changes

Has anybody else noticed the changes on Sat 24 ??

I do like the zoom function

I like the new zoom feature and the improved slide bar arrangement, it would be nice though to be able to zoom in and watch the animation at the same time but hey ho.

Subtle changes but they are good. I like this site but the Met Office Invent is slowly catching up as being my favourite.

I do like the Metoffice Invent page though. Pretty colours and without the targeted ads. When we bought a new laptop we spent the next few weeks getting ads about how much we would have saved by waiting a few weeks :s

I quite like the new look of sat24, before it had little functionality and always became very slow and buggy during weather events (assuming a high load on their server). Whether that improves or not remains to be seen.

As a backup radar I will use Satellitt: Europa ? yr.no it gives the weather pattern for the last 24 hours so it is easier to spot trends and make a better prediction for when clear spells are likely.
