prokyon
Hi folks, the last 3 nights weather was good! So I took the chance and payed attention to the seagull nebula. Very southern but nice.In the 1st night I did Halpha (with Moravian G2-8300 an Canon EF 200)Yesterday I did R, G and B. I never made RGBs befor. So I have to experimentalise. Some different results:RGB with Halpha for pushing the R channelHalpha as Luminanceand HalphaGBLearning by doing...And this night I did Luminances. I will show you the result soon.CheersWerner

Beulah
The H Alpha picture is absolutely stunning for the varying levels of depth in the nebula.
prokyon
Thank you for your nice comments! I am still working... It is difficult to keep the details of the Halpha pic making the RGB. Here the Halpha in 50% size:http://www.prokyon.startime.at/Bilder/Seagull_Halpha_Theli_50Perc.jpgCheersWerner
Beyond_Vision
Very nicely done Werner I am undecided between the 2nd and 3rd image as my favourites. May be a blend between the two would good RegardsKevin

peter shah
I like the detail in the 3rd one but the stars need a little attention. The 2nd one has about the best stars with lovely colour very natural but the detail isnt as good.....the fourth is really great a good balance of good star colour and detail...a very good comparison
