The Sun in H-A - 5th December very active - a must see!

Just viewed the Sun with the PST. If you are able to view in H-A go in the next few hours.

There is a filament must be 200,000 miles long leading to the sun's edge where there is a 'hedge' of proms - very spectacular.

Two nice sunspots - 1131 has a bright filament and lots of structure around it. Sunspot 1133 on the edge.
