3ggman
When I got home last night I noticed Orion creeping up the crisp, clear night sky. With weather the its been over the last few weeks I couldnt let this chance go even if the moon was still very bright.Details are: 1000D Modified, IKI 70mm APO, CG4 (unguided)22 x 90secs subsISO40010 x DarksNo Flats. I am quite happy with the result for such a short exposure, it does have some bad gradient, my trail has run out on pixinsight (must resist purchasing, for now anyway) if anyone would like to run some pixinsight magic on it that would be great. (I can email a higher res image

3ggman
So I decided to hell with it and I bought Pixinsight. First results are in. Here is the new version of the above image. I think its a much flatter image, less noise and a little more detail. C&C?

Trevor-Austin
I'll give them a try, seem very well respected and I'm not achieving much at all without it!Just don't like software I have to be taught on though:)
