Well it should be ... in practise there may be a very small difference, but you're unlikely to notice unless you're working at a very fast focal ratio - the fatter light cone is less tolerant of focusing errors, and the cameras are intended to be used with lenses up to f/1.2 so they should be very accurately adjusted at the factory.

Focus point is the same on my 550D and 5D, I can use the live view focus on the 550D to make sure I'm focused on infinity, I then tape up the focusing ring to stop it moving and then transfer the lens to the older full frame 5D.
