What i didnt say is,that i had the intention of imaging Saturn this morning but couldnt be a*sed to get the C8 out and set up with the webcam so i chickened out and went for the easy target insted.

I was actually trying to get earthshine (if thats the right term) and the cresent but the cresent ends up being over exposed.

KH, please tell me what shutter speed you used, as my camera didn't know how to do it without a lens. I just guessed. (See my new thread coming up in "Imaging Help").

I'm striving to achieve these kinds of results that are popping up left, right and center. Just give me a few weeks...

To be perfectly honest i cant remember as i was messing around so much with the settings,i think it was 1/10 sec but i may well be wrong.As i said i was trying to get the dark part of the moon illuminated.
