One more Venus phase 17-10-10

Managed another shot of Venus this afternoon. The seeing was appalling but managed to salvage something.

For this last one the phase is 0.052

Well done - it's an achievement to get such a small phase with such an unfavourable elongation.

That's a great sequence Dave. A nice record of the planets orbit as it moves towards Inferior Conjunction.

As Brian said, not an easy project, for the reasons you stated.

Great image. You beat me to it. I was having a go at it this afternoon, but it had disappeared behind some trees before the clouds cleared. Only 12 days till inferior conjunction.
