As I am after a 16" Lightbridge myself, can Mick advise on the maximum eyepieces to use satisfactorily? Find that the 2" in any case are far better than 1.25" with adaptor.

Can I suggest that you post this in the Equipment Help section ? - it may get overlooked tucked away on this thread

I think Mick used William Optics UWAN's with his LB16 by the way but only the 28mm is a 2". As you can see from my piccies, all my EP's will work in the 2" fitting now and are superb in fast (even really fast) scopes
