CdC or stellarium for EQMOD?

Having finally got the QHY5 sorted im looking at EQMOD.

Which is the preferred planetarium for EQMOD, CdC or Stellarium. Im used to Stellariums interface and have never seen CdC. Is it just personal preference? I noticed that Stellarium seems to require more setting up

CDC just works, superbly

Personal preference but C du C simply works beautifully with EQMod - highly recommended.

I have tried both. Started with Stellarium, but as i am running an 8yr old XP laptop I found that it ran a bit slow. Switched to CdC and its great.

CdC v3.....

It's NOT a fancy planetarium program.. it's a detailed and very versatile sky mapping program which works with many detailed databases. I use it to control an Lx200 and HEQ5 / NEQ6pro mount.

100% recommended.

CdC V3 beta is very good, tried stellarium too graphic intense over remote desktop.

Went with CdC, see what you mean by it just works. Even without reading the manual i was able to work out the basics.
