Hi all, names Phil (47 going on 12), live in the UK/Northwest.

Other half bought me my first scope a few weeks ago (Celestron 127EQ) I think she's trying to get rid of me as she doesn't seem to mind me sitting at the end of the garden till all hours..lol.

I must be getting old cos the cold is starting to get to me so I'm thinking about buying a Neximage imager so I can sit in the warm.

Still finding my way around the sky at the moment but looking forward to chatting with you guys and picking up any useful hints and tips.

Hi Phil,

A very warm welcome to SGL, if you think you are getting cold now, what about those of us who have put on almost another thirty years, plenty of thin layers of clothes does the trick, good insulated boots, a portable wind shield and a good supply of hot coffee, enjoy the forum.
