jupiter and Moons

Not the best image you will ever see of this lovely planet, but thought i woud post it anyway....

More or less exactly what I observed very early this morning. Was very very bright.

Yeah it was, I took this when the cloud was covering the moon, which cut out alot of glare

This morning I quickly grabbed this with our crude equipment. Oneday we might have some real imaging gear!

Yep, I had to come in and look at Stellarium to verify. Sure enough just Io, Ganymede and Callisto this morning.

Your images are very beautiful. Simple yet elegant. I have one question though. Can you, with the equipment that you have, see larger more defined images of Jupiter. I only ask because so far I have not managed this and what I see is similar, though not as good, as your images. I was hoping to see sopme detail of the planet. If I can't it may be that my scope is not good enough.

i have an 150P and i see it just very brightly , thats with as light pollution filter and a moon filter attached , how do you get to the detail of ur other photos..? they are great btw!
