A couple of moon pics from Sunday morning taken with the ED80. The seeing was very good-shame there were no planets around!

Oooh, kicks the ass of my own Orion ED80 moon image from the night before. Next clear night I'll have to get myself to a dark site with my driven mount and try and get something decent. I love the mosaic image of the terminator region, I cant believe the amount of detail that's been captured. I can see I'm going to have to invest in a larger Barlow too.

It's a very nice camera. The main benefit is the size of the chip. Almost the whole of the moon can be imaged in a single shot with the ED80 at prime focus.

I can just about get the whole Moon on a Toucam with my ED80 using a 0.6 focal reducer.
