Skywatcher Explorer 150P supplied adaptor?

With my Skywatcher Explorer 150P, as well as the eyepieces and the Barlow lens there is an adaptor with a female thread at one ens and two thumb screws at the other end. I thought that the threaded end was to take a T-mount but I can't figure out how to connect it to the scope. Do I need something else in addition to a T-mount or have I got the whole thing wrong? :confused:If anyone has a 150P and can explain what I've got it would be much appreciated.

Sounds like an extension tube.

You should have one of these

It unscrews to allow access to the T thread.

It is a 1.25" to 2" adapter. The focuser takes 2" eyepieces as standard and the adapter allows you to us 1.25" eyepieces in the 2" focuser

Think I've got it, the spare adaptor must be for 2" eyepieces, the 2" to 1.25" adaptor unscrews to give the thread for the T-Mount. But what is the female thread inside the 2" adaptor for?

The internal thread on the 2" adapter is for 2" filters.
