Crescent Moon Mosaic - Mar 20

March 20th presented a clear evening with a rapidly falling temperature, making imaging with my CPC1100 practically impossible. However the seeing was reasonably steady & I couldn't resist the temptation to image the excellently placed crescent moon! So my William Optics FLT110 was pressed into service....

The result is given below. This is a 9 frame mosaic using my Imaging Source DMK41 camera, an infra red pass filter and a "2x" barlow, giving an effective focal ratio of around f/20.
