Last crack at the M42

Have not done much imaging lately due to reasons beyond my control but now I back in to it. had to take this before it disappears over my Obs roof. 25 subs at 5 mins

This is lovely - is this with the ED80? Did you blend in the trap using layers from two sets of exposures? What were the settings (Exposure times, ISO, numbers of frames)? My only comment would be that the background looks a tiny bit too green. Nevertheless, better than anything I have managed. You have captured a lot of detail, with good definition.
