hello all, loving the site, a wealth of info in here no doubt i shall be bugging alot of you for help in the near future! I have been interested in astronomy for years but till now i haven't been able to afford a decent scope. A friend bought me a really basic spotter scope for my birthday earlier in the year. It was ok for a while as i had never owned any sort of scope but it had pretty bad optics really. anyway now i have purchased the skywatcher explorer 150p eq3-2. I am waiting for it to be delivered, christmas has come early this year i think

will probably be uprading a motor to it at a later date as i would like to try to learn astrophotography, but thats a long way down the line. Learn the skies first and take it from there.
