Record for cloudy night?

I'm fed up. 7th night in a row that the cloud has been too thick to see anything! I wonder what the record is for the number of cloudy nights in a row? Having to resort to watching England try and play football - it would be more interesting watching the clouds!

here on the westcoast of norway, i have had 4 clear nights in 4 months!!!

it is incredible, the lowpressures is just lining up over here.

Back in 1997 I started to get into astronomy. On my birthday early October I received a pair of binoculars to get me started. From then till mid December there wasn't a single clear night. I was starting to go mental.

Must be Global warming, the Ice Caps are melting so there is more moisture in the air. If this keeps up some of us will be observing with flippers and a snorkle
