While waiting for the Rigel to make an appearance, I grabbed a few short subs of M42 in Ha, OIII, and SII. Here they are combined in HST style.

Looks better in RGB dont it Somewhere I have the RGB version from the night before, struggling to find it in my Kelling folder atm.

Wow so different from the RGB ones. But I think this one looks more aesthetic. The bluish tint gives it a sinister appeal.

I think I prefer an RGB rendition of this but that doesn't stop me from really liking this narrowband version - just look at all that going on in the Trapezium!
