johninderby
Congrats, you've picked a great scope that should give you some amazing views, and remembered to get a proper diagonal as well. For a power supply you might consider the one Opticstar sells as it's a proper regulated type.http://www.opticstar.com/Run/Astronomy/Astro-Telescopes-Celestron.asp?s=5fddaa33-24d3-4fdb-9987-96cb59af32cc&p=0_10_5_0_3_2Other things you might think about long term are a FeatherTouch microfocuser that replaces the stock focuser and doesn't affect clearance with the OTA at zenith. Unfortunately there isn't room to fit a crayford. Also the second most usefull bit of kit was the Lymax Cosmic Cooler that will cool down the scope in about 20 minutes, so that you can be observing sooner.John

jgs001
Sounds like you've ordered some really nice kit there Kev. Don't listen to that lot, it doesn't have to cost a major fortune unless you get into imaging and photography of course
