Dinglem

Recommended Posts

I managed a quick session this morning when it was very clear. Usual setup Tak FS60C 50MM double stack solarscope filters, ASI174MM, then with the addition of a 2.5 Powermate. Stacked in AS4 and quickly processed in Pixinsight. I really need to find some good information on how to process them properly if anyone has any suggestions.

Nice ones.

There's a plug-in for Pixinsight (which I don't have) to help process Solar images - have you seen it?

yes it's the Solar Toolbox which is all I've been using, I keep playing with the settings but I need more practice and time to play with it all.

Just messing about: Contrast + Gamma-.

Reducing the size of the posted image and image scale helps.

What software do you use to alter those parameters, as it's showing a lot more surface details?

PhotoFiltre7.  A long obsolete Google image handling software.

There is something called PhotoFiltre Studio but I haven't looked at it.
