Stellarium & core.move

If I use core.moveToRADec() in the script console(F12) I get to a location on screen different to that found when I enter the same RADec pair in the Search>Position window (F2)
I may be doing something stupid or :- I think core.move is going to an equinox of the current time of the display, ie. Jnow,  whereas the search box is using (expecting) J2000 coords.

Is there a script command that I can use to enter RADec in J2000 coords ? to get to the same place as found by the search box] ?

Background : my idea is to be able to quickly copy/paste the location platesolved by ASTAP into Stellarium in one operation.
