AstroGS
This just popped in my FB feed, it is not 1st of April so, it might be legit 😏 A new ASIAIR or something?
Elp
Looks like a WiFi camera

Vroobel
It's a WiFi-ready combination of 6200MC with ASIAir Plus v2 inside. 😁
Elp
Really it's a ZWO Snorkel, so you can go swimming in the perpetual clouds. 1
Ouroboros
It’s a violin with a folding neck. 1
Elp
Alas, it's not a Snorkel:
mareman48
Interesting, wonder what the price range will be on the Asiair 2600 duo air🤔
Elp
It'd be interesting to know it's power draw. Sometimes an air powering everything is too much for the little box.
Vroobel
Haha, should I understand that I guessed properly (2600MC, not 6200MC) ? Edited April 18 by Vroobel

Vroobel
One copy for me, as the winner, please. It looks like there are 4 USB ports. The Raspberry Pi rather cannot fit there, also it has USB ports in a fixed place. I would say that there is an ASIair mini and a power hub. Vroobel
Did I guess again? What will I do with two the same cameras? 🤔

ZWO have parted with using Raspberry Pi boards and have their own using Rockchip processors so can be more flexible on their internals. Likely to be similar to what's in the ZWO Seestar but with more external ports.
Vroobel
Cuiv The Lazy Geek just confirmed: there is the ASIAir mini.

Unless the power ports, usb ports & wifi are on the end of extended cables it's likely a re-configured base board. Though could be the basics of the ASIAir Mini or the SeeStar. Vroobel
Well, I'm not going to buy it as I already have ASIAir Plus v1, 2600MC and 2600MM. I take it as a curio for beginners. Rich beginners... 😉
Elp
Just a thought. If it does have full air functionality and ZWO mess up the firmware updates (not uncommon), does the camera become an expensive paperweight? They'd better up their software support game and upload older firmwares for users. 2
AstroGS
Another point that Cuiv made was that the camera does not seem to have an output usb, which - if true - will not allow the owners of this camera to use it with other acquisition software; making it a rather very expensive item. Elp
The product is better explained here: https://youtu.be/g_00i3ECqDk?si=sWdIavpyFiOhN3vw Also confirmation of ZWO rotator and larger AM mount as well as Seestar newer model work being touched upon.
Elp
There was also the 2600MM Duo and a square sensor planetary camera the 676MC announced.
syd_malicious
Well I suppose we can all hope that if it conains any GPL covered software ZWO plays by the rules. Or perhaps we can hope they'll offer acceptable support.
