Might be insects. They have that sort of pattern when moving past a camera.

We get bats near us, the first time we set up the hot tub and were in it late my wife thought I was kidding. Then she made one out...she got out very quickly. 🤣

We have millions of Mexican free-tailed bats around here.  They help contain the insect population in the summer.

Just don't go below the bridges where they roost when they're flying out at twilight unless you like bat guano on your head.

They look very long and thin and the wing beats look unusual. Could they be dragonflies, damselflies or other related species?

I'm always surprised by the amount of stuff that crosses the field of view when I'm moongazing - birds, planes, superman not so much. Usually high magnification too - so about 20' FOV or less. What are the chances? Seriously, who's good at maths?

Now that I look at the video frame by frame, they are much too slender to be bats or birds.

Our Texas mosquitos tend to fly almost randomly.  These all seemed to fly in the same straight line as if in a flock.
