Saturn with a "small" Mak!!!

Hello,

My first Saturn shot this year and first light for my OMC140. Just a quick luminace shot as i`m still waiting for my new manual filter wheel to arrive. 2000 frames @ 30 frames/sec with my DMK 21AF04.AS and 2x barlow. Quite pleased with how this came out for such a "small" aperture....a keeper i think!!!

Nice one Alan, those 140s still deliver. I like to use my 127 Mak occassionally for planetary and even that gives respectable images.

Thanks guys, I think this could be bettered. I didn`t leave the scope to cool and the seeing was just average......stay tuned!!!

i think i am correct in saying the omc140 is a re-badged Russian mak and boy does it show.........no one make a mak like a Russian!

fantastic crisp image for the aperture alan, and a good image scale too :)
