Aurora Alert - Visible from Cornwall

Have a bright purple aurora here, with some green low down to the horizon.

nice grey cloud and the occasional flash of lightening, sadly nothing like as magical as the view you describe 😉

The Aurora app was showing a little over 900nT a few hours ago, just for a brief spell, buts thats the highest reading i've ever seen.

Wind and rain here this evening sadly.

Watched it here in Cumbria for about half an hour when  the the skies cleared. Cloudy to the north now though.

Yep it was definitely here in North Cornwall. I managed a smartphone shot as the dslr was clicking away. Shame on this part of the north Cornwall coast it was very cloudy.

As I'd had a couple beers a trip up to Bodmin Moor for a better view wasn't an option, but glad I set the camera.
