powerlord
This sits very low where I am, and just above neighbours house and street lights, so it's not one I've ever managed before. And the results are by no means wonderful, but it is recognizable as the head of a witch at least. 80ED with asi2600 and no filters. Just over 2 hours of 5 min subs. Processed in Affinity. stu

Stuart1971
Super image, a run through BlurX will sort those elongated corner stars too….👍🏻👏🏻
carastro
Well done Stu. It’s a large target and needs dark skies so has pretty much eluded me apart from a small bit of it some years ago when l was in the right place at the right time. powerlord
The elongated stars were my 80ED with no corrector. I got away with that when I had the 533, but with the 2600 I can't. And I've never got on with the 0.8 FF reducer that came with it - just didn't seem to work. I bought a basic OVL FF from FLO last week, and it works wonders - nice and sharp now so no need for BlurX in newer captures. 🙂
david_taurus83
Do you not use any filter at all? Not even an IR/UV filter? Do you not get bloated stars? Nice capture BTW, this is next on my list for the Redcat if we get a clear evening over the holidays!
powerlord
You don't have a choice with the asi2600 - it has a built in UV/IR window.

Hmm yes I just seen that in the blurb though it only says IR cut. I might have to have a try without a filter myself.
