Saturday was the first test of the DOB (Orion Optics 250mm f6.3 Hi-Lux 1/8PV Wave Front) Not fully collimated, yet at 300x mag M13 the Hercules cluster not only filled the FOV but was very very well resolved. As for Saturn, well in less than ideal conditions three band of clouds were easily visable without filters. Stepped up 500x mag for the moon :shock: unbelievable

The scope won the S@N review on 10" Dobs last month, I just wish the "extras" didn't add up to quite so much. Sounds a cracking scope Orion.
