Messier 31 The Great Andromeda Galaxy - First Light with side by side WOGT71/QHY600 Askar200/ASI1600

The clouds finally cleared at 1:30 on Sunday morning to allow first light for my side by side WO GT71QHY600 and Askar200ASI1600mm combo on M31 the Great Andromeda Galaxy.   3hrs of 5 minute Lum subs through William Optics GT71/QHY600 at Mode3 Gain 0 plus 1hr Blue 50min Green and 34min Red (all 2 minute subs) through the Askar200/ASI1600 to which I added 10Hrs Ha taken in Sept 2020 through GT71ASI1600. Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.  Corner star shapes not too bad, diffraction spikes at top middle result from the use of an OAG (used to overcome focuser droop from the heavy camera and 5 minute subs). Presented at 50pc.

Thanks for looking

Dave
