IC1396 with SY135/QHY268c/NBZ

I captured 3 hrs of data on this last night mostly unattended, but something went South soon after I left it to it's own devices, weird banding and massive red light interference on the subs so most were unusable.

So this is just 10 x 3 mins with the SY135 lens/QHY268c/NBZ combination, calibrated and stacked in APP, processed in StarTools and PI. I would prefer a pseudo HST palette, but not enough green or blue signal with just 30 minutes of integration.

Thanks for looking.

Looks great with nice details and quite a bit of dust! There should be some Oiii centrally in the nebula but I guess your sky is still too bright to pick it up.

Cheers

Thanks,  I tried a HST palette version but not enough Oiii signal. All data collected without Astro darkness so not a surprise.

Yes, you could allways return to it with an Oiii filter when astrodarkness gets back🙂

Still imaging the Elephant's Trunk region, now at 51 x 3 mins with the SY135/IMX571c/NBZ combo. Although I have a hour of Astro darkness back, this object is at the Zenith and the with the lens mounted alongside the RASA it is looking at the dome shutter drive mechanism at this orientation. Still, I have tried a pseudo HST palette with the data I have.
