Risers for scope rings?

Hi,

Realise I possibly need several of these to ‘lift’ my scope away from the dovetail due to interference with the rotator and focus lock. Does anyone in the UK supply these?

I machined some up but 3D printing is also a possibility? 

So long as the fasteners go right through shouldn't be a problem. Depends on scope perhaps!

Its an esprit 100 and although not a massive issue the clearance between the focus lock and the dovetails is a couple of mm, not ideal. Unfortunately I don’t have access to a 3D printer but may ask at work. I know there are a few milling machines 🤔😉

FLO do ADM Universal Adapter Blocks which may fit your set up .. I use them with my Esprit150 for the same reason

Primaluce Labs also make them in anodised aluminium in a variety of heights. I use them and nicely made.

Very solid and a nice fit on my red primalucelab dovetail as well.

Advantage of these car hood risers is that there is no dependency of spacing between the holes.

I used these stand offs from FLO. Provides clearance and helps with the routing of cables.

I've just bought a Losmandy-Style Dovetail Bar from FLO just the same reason.  With the original dovetail on my Z61 it sits too low in the saddle and the focuser makes it really hard to get the right balance.  The Losmandy sits higher.  FLO very helpfully gave me a couple of options, the Losmandy will let me fist a safety stop on the dovetail which should prevent a nasty accident if the saddle isn't tight enough.

Not seen those - in many ways easier than what I’d suggested in the Primaluce Lab variety in that mounting points will always line up with individual spacers/bolts. Good call!

@SimonHutch i just stumbled across them. A little expensive for a few bolts but that is what it is, but they do the job. @Annehouw also has a neat idea.
